Track kiln – HTD 100

The track dryer offers optimal conditions for particularly large batches—it is flexible, powerful, and efficient in terms of throughput.

The HTD track kiln – boosted with intermediate heating

The HTD is a conventional vented dry kiln. Unlike the HTR, it is loaded on rails using kiln carts, either manually, semi-automatically, or fully automatically. Its great advantage is the use of intermediate heating (booster coils) in the middle of the kiln, because reheating the air flow results in improved drying of the lumber packages arranged on the inner tracks and also allows for much longer air travel distance. Climate sensors are attached to the intermediate heating system, which not only gauge the temperature drop of the air flow, but also determine the current lumber moisture content. Due to the special arrangement of the lumber packages, there is no size limitation for the kiln.

All Hildebrand kilns meet the highest quality standards: highly insulated aluminum or stainless steel construction, fans specially developed for Hildebrand, and all purchased parts from renowned and certified suppliers.

The intermediate heating system, combined with the alternating climate control and Hildebrand Turbo Technology, guarantees outstanding drying results. Drying time and energy consumption may be reduced significantly while maintaining excellent drying quality.
