- 1958: World´s first lumber dry kiln in full aluminum design
- 1960: Premiere of first dry kiln with intermediate ceiling and reversible airflow
- 1970: First simple continuous kiln
- 1976: First supplier with computer-controlled kiln drying
- 1979: Introduction of frequency drives in lumber kiln drying
- 1994: Low-stressful quality drying with super-heated steam and vacuum
- 2002: Introduction of unique HIGH VAC with steam pulsation – the world´s largest vacuum kiln in rectangular design
- 2011: Hildebrand initiative – Greenkilns®
- 2015: Global launch of Hildebrand Turbo Technology (HTT)
- 2019: New generation of control software system Brunner Vector EW with patented Hildebrand Weight Precision Technology (HWPT)

Sustainability and environmental protection are important values for Hildebrand. They are often perceived as being contradictory to cost efficiency and productivity – a very short-term view. Right from the start, Hildebrand’s philosophy has been focused on long-term thinking, adaptability, and innovation. This is why over 90% of our kiln´s components are manufactured within the Brunner Group. The end result is drying facilities that are still in operation even after more than 30 years – a sustainable use of high-quality materials that has paid off!
